Sometimes, a prop takes more resin that you anticipated, and you’re onto your last batch… In that case, it’s time to bust out the cheats.
This is why I never throw out failed casts- they’re excellent for testing new paints & glues, but also provide the perfect filler! Just make sure to cast in layers, sufficiently covering all sides first, and be careful not to trap too much air under any given piece. Voilá, a solid resin part after all!
